BISZ becomes Cambridge International School

The British International School of Zagreb is delighted to announce that it has successfully completed the registration and inspection processes required to become a Cambridge School. This is one of the most prestigious international educational programmes recognised and respected worldwide. Gaining membership of CIE is an important milestone in the development of the school.
With this The British International School of Zagreb is the first international school in Croatia to offer a full Cambridge programme.

Lounge room
Why fit in when you were born to stand out'... This is one of Dr. Seuss' classical quotes which can be seen up on the wall in our new school 'lounge room'. This latest addition which opened at the start of semester two has been a hit amongst our staff and students. The multi-purpose facility is being used for guided reading, playing games and free time.

A huge part of this article consists of the thoughts and observations made by our Principal Martin-Tino Časl regarding the disadvantages of the Croatian curriculum in comparison with the British National Curriculum placing a special emphasis on our Cambridge program. As numerous times before our school is once again a pioneer of new ideas in this area.
